Tržišno natjecanje je jedna od najvažnijih politika EU. Poznavanje složenog sustava pravila tržišnog natjecanja EU je nužno za sve one koji na bilo koji način, nudeći robu ili usluge, djeluju na tržištu EU. Studenti prava i ekonomije će u svom budućem poslovanju zasigruno biti uključeni u tržišne procese na tržištu EU. Stoga im se kroz ovaj projekt omogućuju da steknu vrijedna nova pravna i ekonomska znanja koja će im dobro doći u budućim karijerama. 

Voditeljica projekta je izv. prof. dr .sc. Dubravka Akšamovićsa Pravnog fakulteta u Osijeku, a uz nju u projektu sudjeluju brojni stručnjaciiz Prava tržišnog natjecanja i Europskog prava, izv. prof. dr.sc. AleksandarErceg sa Ekonomskog fakulteta, mag. iur. Lidija Šimunović i izv. prof dr. sc.Tunjica Petrašević sa Pravnog fakulteta, izv. prof. dr. sc. Jasminka Pecotić Kaufman sa zagrebačkog Ekonomskog fakulteta te Mladen Cerovac te ravnateljAgencije za zaštitu tržišnog natjecanja.

Projekt se financira iz sredstava EU i traje tri godine. Iako je primarni cilj projekta educirati studente Pravnog fakulteta i Ekonomskog fakulteta u Osijeku o  pravilima i sustavu zaštite tržišnog natjecanja EU, u okviru projekta je predviđen i niz drugih projektnih aktivnosti. Održavati će se radionice i okrugli stolovi za praktičare, odvjetnike te poduzetnike iz Hrvatske i regije.

Market competition is one of the most important EU policies. Knowing the complex EU competition rules system is necessary for all those who in any way, offering goods or services, operate on the EU market. Students of law and economy will be actively involved in market processes in the EU market in their future business. Therefore, they are enabled through this project to acquire valuable new legal and economic knowledge that will benefit them in future careers. The project manager is prof. dr .sc. Dubravka Akšamović, Faculty of Law Osijek, and with her in the project are involved numerous experts from the Law of Competition and European Law, izv. prof. dr.sc. Aleksandar Erceg from the Faculty of Economics, dr.sc. Lidija Šimunović i izv. prof dr. Ph.D. Petrasevic from the Faculty of Law, izv. prof. dr. sc. Jasminka Pecotić Kaufman from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and Mladen Cerovac director of the Agency for Protection of Competition. The project is funded from EU funds and lasts for three years. Although the primary objective of the project is to educate students of the Law Faculty and the Faculty of Economics in Osijek on the rules and system of EU competition protection, a number of other project activities are planned within the project. Workshops and roundtables for practitioners, lawyers and entrepreneurs from Croatia and the region will be held.
